It’s Perfectly Claire: Dodgers in Comfort Zone
- Share via
Isn’t it nice that Fred Claire says he feels “comfortable” with the Dodgers’ overrated starting pitching staff? A staff on which 14 wins was the high mark for ‘97?
Isn’t it grand that Claire is “comfortable” with a bullpen devoid of a proven stopper?
Isn’t it wonderful that Claire is “comfortable” with an outfield that has Todd Hollandsworth in left and Roger Cedeno in center?
Isn’t it great that Claire is “comfortable” letting Pedro Martinez, Darryl Kile, Kevin Brown, Brady Anderson, Kenny Lofton and Moises Alou sign with other teams?
Isn’t it terrific that Fred Claire is “comfortable” with second place?
I wonder how comfortable he’ll be when they finish fourth or fifth.
