State Sen. O’Connell to Meet Constituents
- Share via
In hopes of making himself more accessible to the public, state Sen. Jack O’Connell (D-San Luis Obispo) will hold “card table” office hours today from 1 to 4 p.m. at 10th and Main streets in Santa Paula.
O’Connell, whose 18th District includes Ventura, Santa Paula and Ojai, has time to conduct office hours because he is on recess from the state Legislature.
The lawmaker’s staff said that constituents are encouraged to come with any questions or comments. No appointment is necessary.
O’Connell, who will be up for reelection in 1998, joined the Legislature in 1982 as an assemblyman and was first elected to the state Senate in 1994.
