Panel to Hold Hearing on Village Center Westwood
- Share via
The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing today on Village Center Westwood, a proposed 469,000-square-foot project in Westwood.
The $100-million development would include 3,400 movie theater seats, a supermarket, senior citizens housing, retail space and a library.
Backers of the project say that it will revitalize Westwood, while opponents worry about traffic problems and say that the area already has too many movie theaters.
The event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Olympic Collection Banquet and Conference Center, Versailles Room, 11301 Olympic Blvd.
