Burroughs 38, Saugus 0--Chris Santoya passed for three first-half touchdowns and ran for another and Burroughs scored on five of its first six possessions at Canyon High.
Kyle Cremarosa had five receptions for 85 yards, including touchdowns of five and 15 yards. Burroughs (4-2, 1-0) scored 28 points in the second quarter and held Saugus (1-5, 0-1) to 70 rushing yards.
Travis Ivey completed seven of 20 passes for 138 yards for Saugus. Ivey threw two interceptions.
Saugus had a nine-yard touchdown pass from Ivey from Matt Lane nullified in the third quarter because of an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
Burroughs receiver Glen Adriatico left the game in the third quarter because of a shoulder injury.
