Kilpatrick 54, Marshall 2--Junior running back Jermaine Marshall rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns in 12 carries and returned a punt 66 yards for a score for the Mustangs in an Alpha League opener at Marshall.
Marshall, who has rushed for 803 yards and 12 touchdowns in 75 carries this season, had runs of 39 and 34 yards called back because of penalties.
Daryl Colbert rushed for 51 yards and three touchdowns for the Mustangs (3-2), who gained 219 yards on the ground.
