Adult Day-Care Center Plans Shower, Lunch
- Share via
Acacia Adult Day Services will be lifted into place today as cranes are used to place seven modular units on foundations at the center’s new site, 11391 Acacia Parkway.
The portables will become a 5,000-square-foot building and operate as the home to the center’s frail, elderly clients. The portable buildings will be used until a permanent center is built.
The adult day-care center will hold a lunch-hour shower Sept. 19 to show off the construction. Clients, families, staff members, volunteers and guests will begin with lunch at the existing center, 12471 Main St., then drive past the new site, expected to open next month. Gift suggestions include kitchen items, therapy needs, outdoor items and office equipment.
For shower reservations, call (714) 530-1566.
