GLENDALE — It was a case of too many mistakes for Glendale High in a 34-15 nonleague loss to visiting South Pasadena on Thursday night.
The Dynamiters (2-1), losing for the first time under first-year Coach Pete Smolin, committed six turnovers and the Tigers (3-0) took advantage of most of them.
Glendale quarterback Carlos Gutierrez completed 12 of 25 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown, but had four passes intercepted.
Glendale’s Doug Choi rushed for 88 yards in four carries and caught a 35-yard touchdown pass.
