1993 Replay Would Be Good

Part of the pregame preparation for Saturday’s 40-27 victory over Arizona involved some UCLA players watching videotape of the Bruins’ last Rose Bowl team, the 1993 edition.
Similarities are becoming evident.
“They lost their first two games, to Cal and Nebraska,” safety Shaun Williams said. “And they got a lot of turnovers.”
The Bruins lost to California, 27-25, and to Nebraska, 14-13, that season before winning seven games in a row and eight of their last nine.
This season UCLA lost to Washington State, 37-34, and Tennessee, 30-24, before a feeding frenzy at Texas, 66-3, and winning Saturday.
