SANTA ANA — A Santa Ana man was in critical condition Friday after he was shot several times in a gang-related attack, police said.
Arturo Soto, 30, was standing in a driveway on South Garnsey Street, near his home, when three men approached him, witnesses told Santa Ana police. Without saying anything, one of the men shot Soto several times in the torso, police said.
The three men fled south on Parton Street in a gray four-door Mazda, police said.
Soto was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana and is expected to survive, police said.
