School Site Picked in Bonita Canyon

IRVINE — The school board has chosen a school site for children who will live in a new housing development in Bonita Canyon.
The Irvine Co. plans to build homes just north of the San Joaquin Hills tollway and south of the community of Turtle Rock. Preliminary studies by the district have shown that an elementary school will be required for the area.
The 13-acre site is in the Bonita Canyon village about three miles from John Wayne Airport.
