Re “A Good Guffaw a Day . . .,” March 4: I had a great laugh reading your Column One and seeing the accompanying photo.
I lived in India as a teenager and have revisited that land many times since. I have always been amazed at how India has kept on going in the face of its abject poverty. Now, I believe laughter will keep India afloat for millenniums. Let’s follow India’s lead in this country.
