More than 40 industry leaders will offer their assessments of the Southland residential real estate market at the Apartment and Housing Outlook Conference Nov. 16 at the Century Plaza Hotel.
The strength of the new-home market will be discussed by Albert Praw, senior vice president of Kaufman & Broad Home Corp.; Jonathan M. Jaffe, president of Lennar Homes of California; Michael Keston, chairman of Larwin Co.; and Nicholas Pappas, president of K. Hovnanian of California.
Assessing the existing home market will be Fred Sands, founder of Fred Sands Realtors, and Robert LeFever, president of Coldwell Banker of Southern California.
Economists G.U. Krueger of the California Assn. of Realtors and Joe Mattey of the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco also will speak, as will consulting economists Alfred Gobar and Sanford Goodkin.
Panel discussions will be held on developments in Playa Vista, Valencia and Orange County; technology and real estate; construction and financing; as well as real estate investment trusts and institutional investing.
