Villa Park will get a new mayor and a new mayor pro tem Tuesday when the City Council selects one of its members to serve in the ceremonial post. The five-member council will nominate candidates and choose the new mayor and the mayor pro tem for one-year terms. Councilman Rich Freschi has served as mayor for the past year. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers, 17855 Santiago Blvd. Information: (714) 998-1500.
