Teens Hit Crossing Street; Driver Jailed

Two teenagers suffered serious injuries when they were struck by a car while crossing a street near Fullerton College on Friday night, police said.
The driver, Jose David Urias, 43, was arrested and charged with felony drunk driving, said Police Lt. Geoff Spalding.
The victims, identified as Richard Walsh, 18, and Christiana Duarte, 16, were in a crosswalk at Harbor Boulevard and Ellis Place about 10 p.m. when they were hit, Spalding said.
The teens were reported in stable condition Saturday night at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, police said.
