Brea Olinda guard Lindsey Davidson has made an oral commitment to attend George Washington, she said Tuesday.
Davidson, a Times Orange County first-team performer and the Southern Section Division II player of the year, led Brea to its sixth state title last season. She chose George Washington over California.
A 5-foot-9 shooting guard who also played the point last season, Davidson averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.7 steals while shooting a county-high 50% from the three-point arc (60 for 120).
She shot 57.2% from the field overall.
