In the fifth-place game:
North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake 10, Servite 9 (OT)--Dane Jensen’s fourth goal tied the score, 9-9, for Servite (10-3) with 1:18 remaining in overtime. But Harvard-Westlake’s Bill Strickland scored the game-winner with 11 seconds left.
Jensen had three steals and two goals in a 9-5 consolation-round victory over Davis.
In the Orange Tournament:
Western 10, Bellflower St. John Bosco 9 (sudden death)--Justin Sanders scored 31 seconds into sudden death for Western in the title game. Al Rabanera and Jacob Weinstock each scored four goals for the Pioneers (11-1).
Ronny Cunningham made three of his seven saves in the fourth quarter for Western. Josh Shadrick scored five goals to lead St. John Bosco (8-3).
Loara 13, Garden Grove 7--Tommy Lane scored four goals as Garden Grove (7-6) lost in the consolation final. Garden Grove beat Los Amigos, 10-2, to advance to the final, with Lane scoring six goals.
Savanna 10, La Quinta 3--Bryan Whitaker scored eight goals in Savanna’s consolation victory. He led the Rebels with 24 goals in four games at the tournament.
In the Ramona tournament:
Troy 17, Perris 12--The Warriors (8-4) led, 10-5, at the half and won the third-place game. They lost to Burbank Burroughs, 10-8, in the semifinals, despite seven goals by Ian Markstrum.
In a nonleague boys’ match:
Marina 9, Simi Valley Royal 2--Rusty Keil had three goals and two steals and sophomore goalie Todd Wilson had two steals and seven saves to lead the Vikings (9-2), ranked 10th in Orange County.
