The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s search and rescue team found two hikers Monday after they failed to return from a day hike Sunday in the Angeles National Forest.
The Altadena search team found John Glidden and Gina Cansino in the foothills above Lake Avenue and Loma Alta Drive, authorities said.
They were airlifted to a local medical center where they were found to be in good condition.
The Sheriff’s Department helicopter was used in the search Monday morning after Cansino’s husband reported the hikers missing.
They set out Sunday carrying day packs with food and water.
