Kuhns Scores 4 Goals in Marina’s Victory

Marina, ranked sixth in the county, scored nine first-quarter goals and cruised past Westminster, 23-7, in a nonleague boys’ water polo game at Golden West College Monday.
Justin Kuhns had four goals and four assists and Adam Miller had three goals and two steals for Marina (17-2).
In nonleague girls’ tennis:
Palos Verdes Peninsula 10, Mater Dei 8--Melissa Esmero swept in singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, for host Mater Dei (11-3), ranked eighth in the Southern Section Division II. Peninsula is ranked second in Division I.
