Shooting Suspect Appears in Court

From Times Wire Reports

The man accused of killing two police guards at the Capitol looked anxiously to his lawyer for help Wednesday as a judge in the nation’s capital asked him such questions as his name and address. Russell E. Weston Jr., 41, bandaged and appearing frightened, was pushed into a federal courtroom in a wheelchair for his first appearance before a judge since the July 24 shootings. He did not enter a plea.
