Town Hall Meeting to Focus on Crime

A town hall meeting will be held April 22 to discuss crime problems in east Ventura.
The East Ventura Community Council Public Safety Committee will host two speakers, who will present information and perspectives on how residents are affected by crime in their community.
Officer Ray Broomfield of the Ventura Police Department will make a presentation about the area’s crime statistics and trends. Also speaking will be Ventura Star reporter Bruce McLean.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Salvation Army Center, 650 S. Petit Ave.
