Several of the world’s best-known academic experts on stock market valuation will discuss how high the stock market can go, today and Saturday at a UCLA Anderson School conference titled “The Equity Premium and Stock Market Valuations.”
Among the dozens of panelists and speakers is Wharton School finance professor Jeremy J. Siegel, who caused a stir in the stock market earlier this month with a guest column in the Wall Street Journal under the headline “Are Internet Stocks Overvalued? Are They Ever,” in which he argued that the Internet’s very accessibility limits its ability to create premium profits.
Today’s session is open to the public with a $300 registration fee. Details are available at https: //www.anderson.ucla.edu/acad_unit/finance/equitypremiumnew.htm.
