At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Councilman Russell Patterson will provide a report of the Serrano Water District’s Aug. 11 meeting, at which more than 100 Orange and Villa Park residents protested the proposed sale of Barham Ranch to SunCal, a developer. Patterson said he is giving the report because “this has such high interest and high profile in the community.” Former Mayor Carol Kawanami and activist Teri Elmendorf are also expected to distribute a fact sheet they created after speaking with several parties involved with the controversy. “A lot of misquoting is going on,” Elmendorf said. “I think we’re going to clear up an awful lot.” The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall chambers, 17855 Santiago Blvd.
