3. I guess it’s really true that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. My beloved citrus zester is no longer with us. The tiny little metal circles that did the dirty work slowly eroded until they were gone.
I suppose I could use a box grater, but I’m kind of partial to the skin on my knuckles. And I know that those wood rasps-graters are all the rage, but I think that carpentry tools don’t really belong in my kitchen.
So my search has begun to find a qualified replacement for my dear departed zester: to me, a truly indispensable kitchen implement.
