WEEK AT A GLANCE: Murphy was selected most valuable player of the Oak Park tournament after scoring 71 points and grabbing 24 rebounds in three victories. He had 30 points in a 70-43 victory over Santa Paula in the final, including 20 in the third quarter when Oak Park outscored the Cardinals, 30-10.

SEASON AT A GLANCE: Taylor, a 5-foot-9 forward, is averaging 16 points for the Raiders (10-0). She was an All-Pacific View League selection as a junior.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Taylor averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and two assists in three games to lead the Raiders to the championship of the Duarte tournament. She scored 32 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, in Channel Islands’ 71-68 overtime victory over Antelope Valley in the final.
