Werdel’s 22 Points Lead Chapman Men

Tim Werdel scored 22 points, including four three-pointers, to lead Chapman to a 70-63 victory over Occidental in a men’s basketball game Tuesday at Occidental.
The Panthers (8-4) rallied from a 37-25 halftime deficit to end their three-game losing streak. Mike Gartner scored 14 points and Greg Vecchione had four assists for Chapman. Mario Thompson had 19 points and nine assists to lead Occidental.
