Pole to Pole in 110 Days

Toronto-based Marine Expeditions Inc., which for six years has operated Antarctic and Arctic cruises, is offering a 110-day voyage that stretches from the Antarctic Circle to the Arctic Circle, starting March 2, 2000.
The company claims it’s the first to offer a “Pole to Pole World Expedition.” Prices range from $13,775 to $21,995 per person, double occupancy, including round-trip air from the New York area. The trip begins with a flight from New York’s JFK airport to Buenos Aires. Stops include Antarctica’s Adelaide Island, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Egypt, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Iceland and Greenland.
