Master Classes Offered for Symphony Aspirants

Applications are due by Jan. 31 for two master classes for instrumental musicians scheduled by the education division of the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County.
The first class, on Feb. 26, will feature world-renowned pianist Yefim Bronfman.
The second class, on March 12, will feature instruction in cello, clarinet, oboe, flute, violin, trumpet, horn, trombone and percussion from members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The classes, for music students ages 16 to 25 who plan professional symphonic careers, will be held either at the Performing Arts Center (formerly the Music Center) or at a nearby downtown location.
