A male guard at a federal prison in California has been indicted for alleged sexual encounters with female prisoners, including forcing two to perform sex acts with each other, prosecutors said Thursday. A federal grand jury charged Jon Hyson, 38, of San Jose with engaging in 14 sex acts with inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp in Dublin, officials said. Hyson also was charged with lying to prison investigators and the FBI about the alleged encounters. The charges stem from a 10-month joint investigation by the Justice Department and FBI.
