Greenfield’s Past

In the introductory paragraph to his Jeff Greenfield interview (“Spinning the TV News Cycle,” Dec. 30), Howard Rosenberg writes: “Greenfield was a political speech writer and consultant before joining CBS. . . .”
Don’t you think it would have aided the piece if we knew which political party he wrote speeches for and with whom and for what did he consult? I am willing to bet Rosenberg a Beefeater martini, straight up with a twist, if Greenfield were a conservative Republican that fact would have been included, possibly snidely.
