The city of West Hollywood is seeking musicians for the new West Hollywood Orchestra, which is planning to make its debut performance in June as part of “Summer Sounds,” the city’s annual summer concert series held at the Pacific Design Center’s outdoor amphitheater.
The orchestra’s goal, according to a city statement, “is to present high-quality performances that celebrate the city’s diversity, community involvement and pride through music’s unifying force.”
Mayor Pro Tem John Heilman initiated the formation of the orchestra; the first rehearsal is slated for Feb. 28.
