Last year was a good one for tourism in the city and throughout the county, according to officials with the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau. About 37.5 million people visited and spent a record $5.7 billion.
In addition, there were 426 meetings, conventions and trade shows booked into local hotels and the Anaheim Convention Center for upcoming years. These bookings will bring in more than 1 million convention attendees, who will generate as much as $1.3 billion in spending throughout the county.
