Simi Valley 93, Thousand Oaks 53--Rafael Berumen and Brett Michel each scored 25 points for the No. 1-ranked Pioneers in a Marmonte League victory at Simi Valley.
Branduinn Fullove added 15 points, Tony Ward scored 11 and Shaun Michel had 13 assists for Simi Valley (18-2, 5-0).
Kahil Fennel scored 16 points for Thousand Oaks (11-8, 1-4).
Oxnard 64, Hueneme 59--Gary Eberhardt scored 18 points for the Yellowjackets (14-5, 3-0) in a Pacific View League victory at Oxnard.
Damian Tafoya and Nicholas Curtis each scored 16 points for Hueneme (6-10, 1-1).
Sylmar 77, Van Nuys 42--The No. 4-ranked Spartans alternated between a half-court trap and man-to-man defense to shut down Abe Morabbi, who has a 28.5 scoring average, in a Valley Pac-8 Conference victory at Sylmar.
Morabbi, who was guarded by T.K. Reed when Sylmar (15-5, 2-1) was not playing zone, was held to 11 points for Van Nuys (4-11, 0-3).
George Wrighster had 13 points and 14 rebounds in a rare reserve role for the Spartans, while Reed scored 11 and had eight of Sylmar’s 26 steals.
Chatsworth 80, El Camino Real 70--Bobby Bowlin made five three-pointers and scored 21 points for the Chancellors, ranked No. 7, in a Northwest Valley Conference victory at Chatsworth.
With Chatsworth clinging to a 41-40 lead at halftime, Mark Cannon scored eight of his 14 points in the third quarter and helped the Chancellors outscore El Camino Real in the quarter, 21-6.
Cannon had nine assists for Chatsworth (11-3, 3-0).
Justin Saad-Anthony scored 24 points for El Camino Real (6-9, 0-3).
North Hollywood 54, Reseda 29--Dominic Johnson scored 12 points and the Huskies (11-6, 3-0) won their ninth in a row in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at North Hollywood.
Cleveland 97, Granada Hills 70--Eric Bush scored 23 points for the Cavaliers, ranked No. 8, in a Northwest Valley Conference victory at Granada Hills.
Cleveland (13-4, 3-0) had 29 steals and 32 assists.
Newbury Park 87, Agoura 74--The Panthers dominated the second and third quarters, 43-18, to win a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.
Jesse Roche scored all 10 of his points in that span for Newbury Park (13-4, 5-1).
Mike Patterson scored 24 and Garrett Lepisto added 22 for Agoura (9-10, 3-2).
