More Changes at Intel

Intel Corp., the world’s largest computer-chip maker, said it created a new business unit and shuffled several divisions to hone its focus on networking and Internet opportunities. Intel’s new communications products group will focus on networking and communications systems, including the business of Dialogic, the company Intel completed acquiring this week. Over the last two years, Intel has moved beyond its traditional reliance on microprocessors to encompass more products that help PCs exchange data quickly. Intel shares rose $2.63 to close at $68 on Nasdaq.
