Re “MTA Told to Buy 532 Buses to Ease Crowding,” March 9: So the MTA will put 2,500 more buses on the streets in the next four years. That’s enough buses to choke off Wilshire Boulevard end to end. While I’m sure there will be fewer than 11 people standing on each bus, they and the seated passengers may long for the old, more-crowded days when the bus, at least, moved.
