Ventura County businesses searching for ways to cut waste to meet state-mandated targets by next year can get a helping hand from government recycling specialists.
Recycling consultants from cities and the county are available to meet with companies. They can provide tips for the most efficient recycling system, signs and bins.
Commercial trash accounts for about half the waste generated in Ventura County. State law requires waste from all sources headed to landfills to be cut in half by 2000.
