Biola Eliminates Lipscomb

Jack Hartman scored 13 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds and 16th-seeded Biola defeated Lipscomb of Tennessee, 51-46, in the first round of the National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics tournament at Tulsa, Okla.
Biola (28-7) trailed, 36-34, with 7:29 left. But the Eagles scored the next nine points and, with a 46-43 lead and 12 seconds left, made five free throws to secure the victory over Lipscomb (25-9).
