Data Processing Picks New President

Thomas A. Vadnais has been named president and chief operating officer of Data Processing Resources Corp., a Newport Beach staffing company. He succeeds David Connell, who becomes executive vice president, responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions and integration-related activities.

Vadnais, 51, was formerly president and chief operating officer of Tascor Inc., the outsourcing division of Norrell Corporations. He also spent 23 years with IBM, holding sales, marketing and customer service roles. Vadnais has been nominated to the company’s board of directors, and Connell will remain on the board. Connell had been president and COO for the last five years.
