Robert Porter Gregg; Longtime Resident

Robert Porter Gregg, a Ventura County resident for 35 years, died at his home in Ojai after a long illness. He was 59.
Gregg, who was born in Keiser, Ark., on April 20, 1940, died Wednesday. He retired after working 32 years for the county of Ventura and the Fillmore School District as a maintenance worker.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Gregg is survived by five daughters, Debra Knutson, Donna Gregg, Marlene Riggins, Alberta Duvall and Gordena Jones; a sister, Martha; a brother, William; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Pierce Brothers Stetler Chapel in Santa Paula.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pierce Brothers Stetler Chapel. Interment will be private.
Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula is handling the arrangements.
