First American Buys Kansas Title Firm

First American Financial Corp. said its title insurance unit acquired Ford County Title Co. Inc. in Kansas from owner Barbra Gould. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Santa Ana-based First American Financial said Ford County Title operates one office based in Dodge City and will continue to operate under that name. Gould will remain with the company as president.
