* Re “Firms Sued Over Lead in Brass Keys,” Oct. 13: I recommend the following solution: Tape the grips. I just did. As to an industry solution, duplicate the plastic grips of our car keys.
I don’t understand how anyone could not have suggested this before me. I will therefore accept a retainer from any firms in need of a genius on call. I also question the need for a lawsuit when the industry had no knowledge of this threat and was not expected to. Is there a political motive?
