Plochocki Named President of InSight Health

* InSight Health Services Corp. said Monday it has named Steven T. Plochocki president and chief executive. Plochocki was president and chief executive of Centratex Support Services Inc., a health care support-services company. Newport Beach-based InSight’s previous president and chief executive, E. Larry Atkins, resigned in July. Frank E. Egger, InSight’s chairman, acted as interim president and chief executive during the search for a replacement. Plochocki will also become a director of the company, which provides diagnostic imaging and information, treatment and related management services. (Dow Jones)

* Michael H. Heiken has been named chief accounting officer for Sares-Regis Group, an Irvine real estate services firm. He was formerly vice president and controller at McMillin Companies in San Diego and controller at the Hahn Co.

* Timothy Kay has been named campaign chairman for the 1999-2000 United Way fund-raising campaign. He is partner in the law firm of Gibson Dunn and Crutcher LLP.
