Utah Routs the Ice Dogs, 6-2

The Ice Dogs came out strong Wednesday, but lost to the Utah Grizzlies, 6-2, in an International Hockey League game at Salt Lake City.
Mike Crowley scored on the power play to give the Ice Dogs a 1-0 lead at at 6:07 of the first, but after that, it was all Utah. Ex-Ice Dogs Sean Tallaire, Zarley Zalapski and Shawn Penn assisted on three of Utah’s goals.
Steve Vezina, playing his first game in goal for the Ice Dogs, gave up all six goals on 38 shots.
