The City Council is scheduled to hold two public hearings at its meeting at 7 p.m. today.
One public hearing will deal with a tract map and a flood-plain permit for the proposed Village Alipaz development on the east side of Alipaz Street about a half a mile south of Del Obispo Street.
The tentative tract map would divide about 13 acres of land into 104 lots for single-family homes, a private street and access to two wells and existing sewer lines.
Flood-plain plans include elevating the land from 2 feet at the northwest corner of the site to 9 feet at the southwest corner.
The other public hearing will be on the guidelines and procedures at the city’s 14 rental units in Little Hollywood.
