Summer Camp
From June through August, freeways, side streets and boulevards are a little more crowded with camp buses filled with happy children. Drivers charged with delivering these children home safely are usually college students. We’re not stupid. We’ve been trained and tested. We operate by a higher standard of driver safety and road rules. You lay on your horn when we don’t turn right on a red light. You pass us at dangerous speeds in canyons. You even pull up to us at a stop light and yell obscenities. Be nice Los Angeles. We’re just doing our job. We want them to be safe.
