2 Lanes to Be Closed for Freeway Work

There will be two lane closures on the Foothill Freeway beginning Monday due to a median construction project, state Department of Transportation officials said.
The closures will continue on the 4.5-mile stretch until Friday as part of a $3.7-million project scheduled to be completed in December, officials said.
* From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., one westbound lane will be closed from Maclay Street to Glenoaks Boulevard in Sylmar.
* From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., one eastbound lane will be closed from Glenoaks to Maclay.
During work hours, two lanes in each direction will be open to traffic.
