The city has awarded a $593,647 contract to Calmex Engineering Inc. of Riverside for street resurfacing. Bids from five contractors ranged from $593,647 to $665,097.
The city’s annual street maintenance program is designed to extend the life of the pavement and reduce maintenance and reconstruction costs in the future.
Construction is expected to begin in September and be completed at the end of October.
