Youth Orchestras to Hold Auditions

The Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra will hold auditions Sept. 2-18 for string, brass, woodwind and percussion players, ages 12 to 20.
The 100-piece orchestra plays under the direction of Roger Samuel, and members come from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties.
On the same dates, there will be auditions for the Claremont Young Musicians Intermezzo Orchestra, a 70-piece ensemble for players age 9 to 18.
The CYMO plays community concerts in and around Claremont, at Disneyland, and this summer traveled to Europe.
