The Police Department is accepting applications for its fifth Community Police Academy, which will begin Sept. 13. The academy is for people interested in learning more about the department. The 12-week session will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays and will include canine and SWAT demonstrations. Information: (714) 593-4485.
