The Pageant of the Masters is hosting a casting call for its 2001 show. People of all sizes and ages are encouraged to apply for the living-pictures presentation from July through August.
Prospective volunteers will be measured and photographed, enjoy refreshments and meet pageant staff. Theater experience is not necessary; the only requirement is the ability to stand still.
Casting calls will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 6, 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 7 and 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 11. They will be held backstage at the Irvine Bowl, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
Students can earn credit toward community service requirements by volunteering. Information: (949) 494-3663.
