The City Council on Monday awarded a contract for $92,800 to Robert R. Coffee Architect and Assoc. for the preliminary and schematic design of the expansion project at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.
The proposed multipurpose auditorium will be about 10,000 square feet and will be used for a variety of functions for both senior citizens and the rest of the community. It will contain a stage with accompanying dressing rooms and a full kitchen.
